They Have a Story | November Edition

It's been six months since I've done They Have a StoryWhaaat?! When I started the link-up, I told myself I wouldn't be like those bloggers who start awesome link-ups, then abandon them. Welp, life happens and I'm sorry. They Have a Story is back, and of course this month is gonna be a WWII picture.

What is They Have a Story? It's supposed to be a monthly historical fiction link up hosted by yours truly. Once a month I'll post a historical picture. Your job (and mine ... I'm totally doing this!) is to write a short story inspired by it. It can be as short or as long as you like. Have fun with it! Post the monthly picture, your story, and blog button on your blog, then link up. Let’s see how many different stories we can get from the same picture!

I'm open to picture ideas for future months so if you come across one you like, send it my way! (Especially if you don't want WWII pictures every month. Ha ha ha … just kidding. Sort of.)

Send pictures to: authoremilyannputzke@gmail.com

Happy writing!

  1. YES!!! I have been wishing you'd have the time to pick this link-up up again. I want to try to participate this month. Hold me to it.

And... and I think I know what book the soldier is reading in that picture. O.O. Unless I am greatly mistaken, the book is Greenmantle by John Buchan.
